NATIONAL COMPETITIVENESS TOWARDS INDONESIA 2025

This event is a collaboration of Modernisator, BKPM and Microsoft to promote Indonesia national competitiveness as an effort to reach Indonesia’s vision 2025.
In many countries, governments are challenged to ensure that their countries remain competitive and have solid economic performance in the future through the correct competitiveness strategy. The competitiveness is defined as the set of institutions, policies, and factors that determine the level of productivity of a country. In term of national competitiveness, Indonesia is ranked in 44th position with an impressive gain of 10 pillars, which mainly driven by a healthier macroeconomic environment and improved education indicators. However there are still room for improvement in several areas, especially in the infrastructure, health situation and technology readiness.

He will share his prediction for the future as Asia looks to its competitive strategy global perspective.
Gita Wirjawan, Chairman of Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board.
Mr. Wirjawan has a vision on Indonesia reaching the position as one of the biggest economy in the region and in the world.
Mr. Wirjawan will share his views, insight and analysis on what level of national competitiveness needed for Indonesia to reach in Indonesia 2025. He will also be giving better understanding on the importance of investments to further increase Indonesia National Competitiveness not only for reaching the goals, but also to be able to compete and become one of the biggest economy in the world.
